MEET LELANIA - TORONTO EVENT & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I am Lelania, pronounced Le-lane-ya, and I am so glad you are here. I am a special event and portrait photographer based in the GTA, and I have the joy of capturing everything from baptisms and family portrait sessions to baby showers, maternity photography, milestone parties, and even corporate events. Photography has been such an incredible journey for me, and I feel grateful every day that I get to turn life’s most meaningful moments into timeless images.
I graduated with honours in 2010 from Humber College’s Creative Photography program. In the early years of my career, I worked mainly in the commercial industry as both a photo assistant and a studio manager. While I gained incredible experience in lighting, technical skills, and the behind-the-scenes aspects of photography, I eventually found myself drawn to something more personal. When I began second shooting weddings, I completely fell in love with documenting people’s stories. I discovered my true passion lies in capturing those authentic, fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. The smile between a couple who have been together for decades, the look of wonder on a parent’s face as their child reaches a milestone, or the quiet tears as a partner sees their love walk down the aisle. These moments are organic, genuine, and so incredibly beautiful, and being trusted to preserve them is a privilege I do not take lightly.

Beyond photography, I am a mom to two amazing girls and the proud owner of a lovable golden doodle who keeps life playful and fun.
