COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE SAILING EVENT
The Colliers International Corporate Sailing Event was a multi day experience designed to bring employees together in a setting that combined team building, recreation, and celebration. Hosted at the prestigious Royal Ontario Yacht Club, this event offered an inspiring backdrop that perfectly reflected the values of collaboration, performance, and excellence that Colliers is known for.
Throughout the course of the event, employees had the opportunity to participate in sailboat racing on Lake Ontario. The races were both exciting and strategic, requiring communication, coordination, and trust—qualities that are essential in the workplace and on the water. The spirit of friendly competition created an engaging environment where colleagues could connect in new ways while enjoying the unique challenge of sailing.
One of the highlights for me as the event photographer was the chance to be chauffeured alongside the races in a smaller boat. This vantage point allowed me to capture the full intensity of the action on the water—sails filled with wind, teams working in sync, and the thrill of crossing the finish line. Being able to document the experience from such a close perspective gave the gallery a dynamic energy that brought the event to life in a unique way.
In addition to the races, the Royal Ontario Yacht Club provided a stunning venue for networking and relaxation. Guests enjoyed a range of delicious food and refreshments carefully prepared to enhance the experience. From casual gatherings between races to more formal moments of celebration, the event balanced high energy with opportunities for connection and camaraderie.
As a corporate event, the Colliers International Sailing experience was a clear success.
