A SUNLIT MATERNITY SESSION AT PRETO LOFT

I always feel so grateful when families return to me to capture their next chapter, and this maternity session was especially sweet. This beautiful couple, already proud parents to a little boy, are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl. Being invited back to photograph them again was such an honor and a true joy. It is always so special to witness the growth of a family and to preserve these meaningful moments in their lives.

We met at Preto Loft, a stunning space in Toronto that is filled with natural light and modern charm. The solarium, with its sun-soaked walls, created the dreamiest backdrop for this session. The way the light streamed in made every moment feel warm, soft, and full of anticipation. The airy, open space allowed us to capture both intimate and playful moments with ease.

The mom-to-be looked radiant in two perfectly styled outfits. Her flowing white boho-inspired dress added a soft, romantic touch and complemented the solarium setting beautifully. Later, she changed into a sleek black jumper, creating a bold and modern look that brought a striking contrast to the gallery. Both outfits reflected different sides of her personality, and together they told a complete story of this special time in her life.

One of the highlights of the session was capturing their son, the soon-to-be big brother. His playful energy and sweet interactions with his parents added a layer of authentic joy to the photos. You could truly feel his excitement about welcoming his little sister, which made the images even more heartfelt.

This session was a wonderful reminder of why I love what I do. Documenting families as they grow, change, and step into new chapters of life is such a privilege.
